Valentine Elementary September Breakfast & Lunch Menus

Have passion for music, technology, PE, and/or art? Enjoy working with elementary students? Merge those talents and offer enriching experiences once a week (Music-Mondays, Technology-Tuesdays, PE-Wednesdays, Art-Thursdays) at Valentine Elementary School. Part-time contract positions, $250/day, 9:30am – 3:30pm. Teaching certificate preferred, not required. Application online (valentineaz.net). Questions? Dear Valentine Families, If you have specified a Bus Drop off location for your student, that is the designated drop off spot that they will be dropped at through the entire school year. Unless the school is given a written notice of a Bus Drop off change, or there is a verifiable family emergency reason for your student to be dropped elsewhere, there will be no changes allowed day to day to students' bus drop off. Daily changes may result in errors and we want to make sure your student is dropped off accurately from day to day. Welcome Back to School Valentine Families!!! We are excited to have students returning to the classrooms for the 2023-2024 school year. Here are a few reminders: Student cannot be dropped off before 7:30 a.m. Gates will not be opened to students and families until 7:30 a.m. Students riding the bus must be at the designated stop 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Breakfast is served between 7:30 a.m. and 7:50 a.m. School starts at 8:00 a.m. Any student not in their seat, in their classroom at 8:00 a.m. is marked tardy. All families dropping off and picking up students, must use the designated drop-off & pick-up lane in the new parking lot configuration. Do not drop off or pick up students by parking along the fence by the school. School begins dismissal at 3:20 p.m., please arrive early to pick up your students. All student must be picked up on time when school is dismissed. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 928-769-2310.

Review the Bus Schedule to determine the closest bus stop to your residence. Please have students at the designated bus stop 15 minutes prior to the pick-up time for morning routes.

Last Chance Registration Attention Parents/ Guardians Have you completed your student's enrollment application yet? Valentine Elementary School will be holding two final days of Last Chance Enrollment Assistance on Wednesday, July 5, and Thursday, July 6, from 4pm - 7pm. Staff will be on hand to assist families with the changes to the application paperwork. Do not miss out on this opportunity! Spaces in our classes are filling up quickly, and once seats in a room are taken, students will have to be placed on a waiting list. A Custodial Parent/Guardian must bring the following documents with you to make sure your student's application can be completed: • Copy of Certified Birth Certificate • Updated Immunization Records • Driver's License/State ID • Utility Bill with Physical Address of Residence • Proof of Shared Residence Documentation We look forward to seeing you on the 5th or 6th!

Valentine Elementary Office Hours 6.12 - 6.15 Mon-Wed 10am to 4pm Thurs 9am to 3pm Acceptance/Enrollment Letters for '23-'24 school year will be mailed out, starting June 22nd.

Our June School Board Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 20, 2023 @ 4:30pm.
