Valentine Elementary School will begin the JumpStart Summer School Program this week. Students must be invited to attend this program. JumpStart Summer School Invitation Letters were sent out during the week of June 17th. Summer School Bus Schedule for Valentine Elementary School. Summer School is from 8;00 am - 12: 00 pm (noon) Monday through Thursday from July 8th to July 18th. Summer School is by invitation only - letters were mailed to the parent/guardian of students who are invited to attend.

Valentine Elementary School wishes you a fun, safe, and happy 4th of July!

Enrollment applications for the 2024-2025 school year are now available in the office and on our website. To access the application online, please visit www.ValentineAZ.net and click on Open Enrollment in the navigation bar. Click the link to the Enrollment Packet and a PDF should pop up which you can print and complete. ALL RETURNING AND NEW STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE ENTIRE ENROLLMENT APPLICATION EACH YEAR. The entire enrollment application packet must be completed and brought to the office by the enrolling custodial parent/guardian. All current students were given an enrollment application for the 2024-2025 school year to take home to parents and guardians.

Bus Route #4 is running about 25 minutes late this morning. We apologize for the delay. Students will be able to have breakfast when they arrive.

Valentine Elementary May Breakfast and Lunch Menus

Valentine Elementary School conducted the required monthly fire drill and quarterly lockdown drill today, April 29th.

Small Schools Track Meet April 25th beginning at 9:00 am at the Kingman High School Stadium * Multiple events for every grade level * Students must wear light blue Valentine Elementary School Shirt * Lunch provided for students * Concession snack items will be available from $1.00 - $5.00 * All students must remain with their teacher during the entire track meet * All spectators must remain in the stands during the track meet

We are in need of volunteers to help with events and supervision of students at the Small Schools Track Meet on Thursday, April 25th from 8:30 am - 3:00 pm at the Kingman High School Stadium. Contact Mr. Hass at mr.haas@valentineaz.net for more details and to sign up to volunteer The school office can be reached at 928-769-2310 to leave a message for Mr. Haas. He will return calls after school each day.

State Testing This Week - Mark Your Calendar Valentine Elementary School students will be taking required Arizona State Assessment Tests over the next few weeks. Please mark your calendars with the dates below. Students will be in testing sessions the entire day on these dates. We will not be able to pull students out of testing sessions for appointments or other activities. Make sure your student is not scheduled for appointments or other activities on these dates. Students who attend all testing dates will be entered into a drawing for a cash prize. Other prizes will also be awarded for student effort and achievement. Snacks will be provided each day of testing.

Monday afternoon, there will be a solar eclipse. This eclipse will last approximately three hours in total for Arizona. Some teachers have expressed interest in having their students view this momentous event with special glasses for the occasion. If you do not wish to have your student view the solar eclipse, please send a note in with your student or email the school office at offcmgr@valentineaz.net to let staff members know you are requesting that your child not view the solar eclipse.
