SNOW DAY - NO SCHOOL tomorrow, Wednesday, March 1, 2023 Snow and rain mix are expected through the morning, but we're expected to get upwards of 1" an hour in the afternoon. For the safety of students and staff, there will be no school. Stay warm and safe!

Dear Valentine Families, Due to the inclement weather conditions tonight and tomorrow morning, we will be on a 2hr delay Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Buses will pick up students during the 9 o'clock hour, school starts at 10am, and breakfast and lunch will be served as any other day. Thanks, and stay safe!

Dear Valentine Families, Due to ongoing construction on Route 66 from Tuesday, February 20th - Thursday, March 9th (MP 95 to MP 104), the buses may arrive and depart later than usual. Please have students arrive to their designated stop on time in the AM and our bus drivers will do their very best to get your student(s) picked up/dropped off at their usual times. If you are transporting your student, please make sure to plan ahead for any delays due to the highway being down to one lane. Vision Screening 2.15.23

Dear Valentine Families, Students will be released at 12pm tomorrow, Wednesday, February 8th and 12pm Thursday, February 9th. No lunch will be served. If your student is not riding the bus, they must be picked up at 12pm, as we will be in teacher/staff prep before scheduled conferences begin at 1pm. If you have any questions, please contact the office @ 928.769.2310. Any adjustments to your pre-scheduled conference time must be directed to your student's Teacher. Dear Valentine Families, We have received word about a student having a positive COVID test. The school has taken additional sanitation measures to mitigate exposure. Families should keep a close eye on their students for symptoms, and keep their students home if they have a fever. Valentine Elementary School • January 2023 Calendar Upcoming dates of note: 🔅 NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 9th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 🔅 Tuesday, January 17th from 5:30-6:30pm; come and meet the new 5th/6th grade Teacher, Mrs. Angle 🔅 Wednesday, January 18th we will enjoy our first visit of the new year from the Mohave County Library Book Mobile 🔅 Friday, January 27th at 6pm will be the Mohave County Spelling Bee. Valentine will be represented by our school Spelling Bee winner, Bela Balderrama. Congrats, Bela! 🎉

Dear Valentine Families, Quick reminder that today, Thursday, December 22nd is a EARLY RELEASE day. All students will be released at Noon. If you have not yet called the office to let us know where your student is going in lieu of the B&G Club due to their closure today, please do so, also Ms. McNeil will be making phone calls to families to verify alternate drop-off. Today is also the last day of school, Winter Break begins tomorrow, December 23. Students return from break on Monday, January 9th. Thanks and have a great day!
