Dear Valentine Families, Starting today, Tuesday, April 25, 2023, ALL bus stop destination changes for the bus run in the afternoon must be called in by 3pm. Changes will not be accepted after 3pm. Texting your student their drop off location will not be accepted. The front desk must hear directly from the parent/guardian in order to change their usual drop off spot. Please call 928.769.2310 to alert the office to your students drop off changes. Thanks, and have a great day!

School Wellness Committee Notice for April 2023

Dear Valentine Families, Tomorrow, Friday, April 21st is our LAST Friday school! We have finally made up all our snow days. Remember to please have your students at their morning pick-up stop 15min earlier than their usual pick-up time on account of the ongoing road construction on Route 66. Breakfast will be served, but there will be no lunch as students are released at noon. Thanks, and have a great evening!

Dear Valentine Families, Due to the ongoing construction delays on Route 66 (now, through Thursday, April 27th, 6am to 6pm) we request that ALL bus routes: • Peach Springs • Truxton-Valentine Buck and Doe West report in the mornings to their bus stop 15min earlier than their usual pick-up time to allow for the delay in getting to and from the bus stops. If you are dropping off/picking up your student, please factor in time for the traffic delays. We appreciate you and thank you for your assistance in helping things flow smoothly while road construction is occurring. Thanks, and have a great day!

PUBLIC NOTICE: Valentine Elementary School's April Board Meeting will be tomorrow, Tuesday, April 18, 2023 @ 4:30pm in the school office.

Dear Valentine Families, We are pleased to announce that we now have a crosswalk in front of the school! With this helpful new addition comes new crosswalk procedures. Students must be dropped off across the street and use the crosswalk. Drop-off direction is pointing toward Route 66--passenger side closest to school. The double yellow line means that we cannot have cars pull up and stop/park along the fence line any longer. In other important news, we continue to have testing tomorrow, Wednesday, April 12th and Thursday, April 13th. As we are still in the process of making up snow days, we do have school this Friday, April 14th from 8am to Noon. On Friday, 7th and 8th grade students will need to wear old clothes for a painting project. If you have any questions, please contact the office at 928.769.2310 Thanks, and have a great evening!

Dear Valentine Families, The Peach Springs bus route is still running on a delay. At this time we suggest bringing your student in; keeping in mind that the construction on Route 66 will add to the delay, the bus will do the run as soon as they arrive to pick up students still waiting at the stops. Board Meetings are every second Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted).

Dear Valentine Families, Due to the four snow days, we are required to make up the academic days per Arizona Department of Education requirements and regulations. We will have school on the following Fridays from 8:00 am - noon. Regular bus routes will be followed for AM and PM stops. School will be held: • Friday, March 24th from 8:00 am - noon • Friday, March 31st from 8:00 am - noon • Friday, April 14th from 8:00 am - noon • Friday, April 21st from 8:00 am - noon Students who do not attend on these Friday School dates will be marked absent and it will count against perfect attendance and other attendance guidelines. Breakfast will be served each Friday. Lunch will not be served due to early release each Friday. Mark your calendars for these Friday School Dates!!!
