VESD is excited to be able to offer choices for electives to our middle school students during the 2025-2026 school year. These electives are in addition to the special areas classes for Music, P.E., and Art.
All 5th - 8th grade students must come sign up for Electives during the Back to School -Meet the Teacher Night on July 31st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
Elective Sign-ups:
First come, first serve
Spaces are limited per elective
Students who do not sign up during the Back to School night will be assigned to an elective that has spaces available
Electives run for one semester (Half the school year)
Students will not be able to switch electives during the semester
Students will sign up in December for electives starting in January
